My name is Christian Ortiz.
I've lived in the Wilkes-Barre area for over 20 years. I am the proud father of four beautiful kids who push me every day to achieve my dreams.
The Search For A New Hobby Becomes A New Passion
My journey into photography started off, possibly like many photographers, as a hobby. In 2020 I purchased a camera and started photographing my family and random things I found interesting. I found out I had a passion for still life photography.
One year later I decided to try making a living out of photography. During this time I've been experimenting with different types of photography trying to find my niche and my own style and just improving my craft overall.
My Work
My biggest passion is without a doubt, Still Life Photography. That's more or less my hobby. I have complete control and creative liberty over what I do. Creating art with a camera, telling a story with inanimate objects. The whole process is fun. From thinking of the idea, to the hunt to find the subjects of the photo, setting it up and editing. I could do it every day.
Professionally, I do portraits, commercial and brand photography, events, and fine art photography. I have a long way to go to be as good as the photographers I look up to, but I guarantee you won't be disappointed with my service and the experience.
