How Many Photos Will I Receive From A Portrait Session?

Everyone's vision and needs are different so I can not put a set quantity of photos that everyone will receive. The type of portraits you want, the location, the amount of time we have, the theme, all of this can dictate how many photos we end up with. For some people it could be 15 photos and for others it could be 30.

How Do I Receive My Photos?

After the session, I will begin to edit and retouch the photos. The finished photos will be uploaded to a private gallery on my website. Only you will have the link to this gallery. This gallery will have a password to access so you don't need to worry about other people seeing your photos. Feel free to share this link and password with whoever you'd like. The sample photos will have a large watermark. Please do not screenshot these photos. There is an option to download them in high resolution and in web sizes which are more suited for social media. The downloaded photos will not have the large watermark.

What If I Want Prints?

Prints can be ordered directly from the gallery. There will be a small storefront icon in the gallery. Click on that and follow the instructions. You spent hard earned money on this session so I hand picked my favorite photography lab to print your photos with the highest quality in the industry. You can order traditional prints in all sizes, canvas prints and even metal prints. The screen capture below shows the icon you'll see in your gallery to order prints.

Do I Need To Pay A Retainer Before Booking?

In order to reserve a date and time for your session, you will need to pay a 50% retainer.

Why Do I Need To Sign A Contract?

Contracts are important for your protection as well as mine. The contract is a legal binding document that explains what you will receive and how much you are paying for the service. I can not charge you extra fees or raise my price once you sign the contract. The contract also states important information regarding cancelation, refunds and what my responsibilities are so that you know that you are going to receive what you paid for.

How Long Does It Take For Me To Receive My Photos?

Most digital photos for portrait sessions can be delivered within 2 weeks. Photos from an event can take 3 to 4 weeks.

How many Photos Will I Receive From My Event?

This all depends on the event. You could expect anywhere from 30 to 50 photos per hour of your event. Some events like weddings tend to result in more photos because there is so much going on, whereas something like a baby shower or some corporate events may result in less.

Can I Have All The Unedited Photos You Took?

I do not deliver unedited photos. My job is to take photos and then pick the best ones and edit them. I may take 50 photos and 20 may be out of focus, maybe you blinked, maybe the lighting was too dark or too bright. I get rid of those photos and I edit the ones that came out great. Editing is just as much a part of my job and art as taking the photos. Editing is how I show my creative side, I add my personal style to the photos. To deliver unedited photos would be like a restaurant selling you unseasoned food. Every restaurant has their own touch, their own flavor that makes them unique. This is what a photographer does when he edits photos.

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

I accept cash payments, card payments which can be done in person with a card reader, cashapp and venmo payments and I can send an invoice for you to make a payment online. Card payments and cashapp or venmo payments will have an additional 2.5% processing fee.
